<p>PURPOSE:To enable the sole of a shoe to be flexibly curved according to the condition of a foot in contact with the ground, and further enable a base member and a sole design member constituting a ground contact sole to be integrally bonded and molded. CONSTITUTION:A shoe sole has a base member 11 and a plurality of sole design members 13 bonded thereto via a coat layer 12. Also, antislip projections 14 are formed on the sole design members 13 and strip grooves 15 formed between the members 13 and 13 are so formed as to have an arc along the joint of a foot middle finger. Furthermore, the elements of the aforesaid members 13a are placed on the recessed sections 21 of a lower mold 20 having corresponding recesses 21 so engraved as to copy the surface form of the sole design members 13. A base member 11 is so placed on the elements as to keep a coat layer 12 in contact with the elements. Thereafter, a upper mold 30 is placed on top of the base member 11 to seal completely, and cooled after heating and compression. The sole design elements are thereby deformed and bonded as the sole design members 13 to the base member 11, thereby manufacturing a shoe sole.</p> |
