PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the excessive suction of liquid waste without freshly installing mechanisms by arranging a float of a prescribed sp. gr. or below for holding water absorbent materials into a holding vessel opened downward into the bottom of a treating unit, thereby facilitating visibility and making gelatinization fast. SOLUTION: The float 5 is positioned in the bottom of the treating unit 2 before the start of the suction. The liquid waste 6 arrives at the lower side of the float 5 by passing the space between the collecting bag of the treating unit 2 and the holding vessel of the float 5 when the suction of the liquid waste 6 into collecting bag is started. Then, the sp.gr. of the float 5 is <=1 and, therefore, the water-soluble film on the rear surface of the float 5 dissolves while floating at the air-liquid boundary, thereby gelatinizing the liquid waste. The float 5 exists at the air-liquid boundary at all times when the suction of the liquid waste is progressed thereby efficiently diffusing the waste absorbent materials into the liquid waste 6 sucked afterward and gelatinizing the waste. The float 5 rises to the top end and closes the liquid passage for discharge. |
