The seat comprises a seat part (2) and a back (3). It is fitted with a booster seat (6) with a smaller width than that of the vehicle seat. The booster seat comprises a seat part (7) and with an articulated back. The booster seat back is pivoted along a side part (10) of the vehicle seat. The vehicle seat back has a hollowed housing (11) inside which the folded booster seat can be housed. An Independent claim is included for a method of use.
