<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve focus servo performance by enlarging the focus compensation distance and acceleration of focus servo in an optical pickup. <P>SOLUTION: A structure in which a supporting spring and a suspension are provided in parallel with an optical pickup base plate which supports an integrated optical pickup unit is adopted as a rotation arm which supports an optical pickup. A concave lens for expanding the divergence angle of a laser beam emitted from an optical pickup is provided to the integrated optical pickup unit and a collimator lens for changing rays of light from the concave lens into parallel rays of light is provided on the supporting spring. Moreover, a floating slider in which an objective lens is incorporated is provided to the suspension. By this structure, this optical pick device acquires a structure with which the collimator lens can be freely displaced and the focus compensation distance and the acceleration of the focus servo can be enlarged. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
