<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collected LED light source in which the optical axes of LEDs are arranged and fixed so as to cross at one point rather than are arrayed in parallel and which is used as a light source of an optical equipment. <P>SOLUTION: A conductor having a superior electric and thermal conductivity is used as a substrate and one pole of LEDs is fixed to this and the other pole is enveloped by an insulating material and is made to pass through a hole penetrated in the supporting substrate. This substrate works as a heat radiating plate for the LEDs. Furthermore, the LEDs having not a large divergence angle are used and the optical axes of individual LEDs are collected at one point, thereby this condensing point can be made as a false secondary point-like light source. Thus, this becomes to have a configuration that can be processed by the conventional optical technology, and a prompt transition to practical use can be made. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
