<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a casing for comprehension of a component mounted board having a configuration to introduce outdoor air in order to exclusively cool only the CPUs mounted on boards and to exhaust conduction heat to the outside of an image forming apparatus by the air current in a duct by bringing comb tooth-shaped cooling fins into contact with the CPUs so as to enhance a cooling effect and an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The casing 40 for comprehension of the component mounted board is equipped with a CPU cooling means 43 which is used in the electrophotographic type image forming apparatus installed with a board 41 for machine control, a board 42 for image processing, etc., and cools the heat generated in the CPUs mounted on the board 41 for machine control and the board 42 for image processing and is installed by covering the board 41 for machine control, the board 42 for image processing, etc., with covers for shielding external leaking radio waves.
