PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the feed mistake of a molded body, which is caused by the badness of the mold releasability of a ceramic substrate small in single size and having a large number of split grooves from a mold in the split groove processing of a green sheet and the reduction in the thickness of the green sheet, and to prevent the damage of the mold. SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method for the ceramic substrate having the split grooves, first, the split grooves for a product are formed on the ceramic sheet while the split grooves for an outer side are formed on the peripheries of them and the green sheet is cut on the outside of the split grooves for the outer side followed by baking of the green sheet.
