PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passenger conveyor operation control system capable of ensuring passenger's safety at an operation start time in a place where a plurality of passenger conveyors are installed. SOLUTION: This passenger conveyor operation control system is provided with start information communication means 6, 1a to 1d for transmitting information started by starting devices 4a to 4d of passenger conveyors 5a to 5d to other passenger conveyors through an electric communication means 6 by operations of the starting devices 4a to 4d. This passenger conveyor operation control system receives information from the start information communication means 6, 1a to 1d and announces guide for starting the passenger conveyors 5a to 5d when passenger detection devices 3a to 3d detect passengers.
