PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine drive power generator for preventing occurrence of unburnt gas or unburnt engine oil under a non-load operation or light-load operation.SOLUTION: An engine drive power generator 1 is provided with an electric heater 44 for heating cooling water for an engine. The electric heater 44 is connected to a generator main body 3 through a heater power supply circuit 74. The engine drive power generator is also provided with heater control means 30 operated in such a way that, when a consumption power of an electric device 5 connected to an output terminal block 71 of the engine drive power generator 1 is equal to or less than a prescribed heating start reference value, the heater power supply circuit 74 is closed and the electric heater 44 is turned ON and at the same time when it exceeds a prescribed heating completion reference value, the heater power supply circuit 74 is opened and the electric heater 44 is turned OFF.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
