<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device having an image bearing body which can reduce rotation unevenness of the image bearing body and can hold the linear velocity almost identical with that of the medium to be transferred of an intermediate transfer body or the like. <P>SOLUTION: This is an image forming device in which the rotation of a driving means is transmitted to an image bearing body and a toner image is transferred to a medium to be transferred. The driving means and the image bearing body are connected by a coupling. The coupling is composed of an image bearing body side coupling 130 and a drive means side coupling 120. One of the contact surfaces 122a and 132a of the coupling is a curved surface and the other is a plane surface. By turning the conventional face contact into a dot contact or a line contact, it is possible to contact at two points, and the rotation unevenness can be reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
