PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the accuracy of age estimation.SOLUTION: In a digital signage device 1, a control section 23 applies face recognition processing to an image captured by an imaging section 34, and acquires a first estimated age value of a user by a sex/age estimation program, from an acquired face image. The control section 23 acquires eye distance D and eye-center coordinates y from the face image recognized from the captured image, and refers to a body height estimation table 253a, to estimate a body height of the user, on the basis of the eye distance D and the eye-center coordinates y. The control section 23 refers to an age-specific average body height table, to acquire a second estimated age value of the user from the estimated body height. The control section 23 determines a final estimated age value of the user, on the basis of the first and second estimated age values.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
