Provided is a method for setting an integrated image between a medical monitor and an external device having a different protocol. The method for setting an integrated image comprises: a step in which an external device checks the setting of a medical monitor and enables a setting parameter thereof to conform to the setting parameter of the medical monitor; a step of, when an image setting is changed in any one of the external device and the medical monitor, requesting a setting change from the other on the basis of the changed setting information; a step of changing a current setting parameter according to the request and performing update; and a step of receiving an update acknowledgment. Here, communications between the external device and the medical monitor can be performed by means of protocol conversion.
