摘要 In a process of producing a conjugated diene such as butadiene by a catalytic oxidative dehydrogenation reaction of a monoolefin such as n-butene, an object of the present invention is to provide a process by which an operation can be conducted more safely and a conjugated diene can be stably produced at a higher yield. The present invention relates to a process of producing a conjugated diene including a step of mixing a raw material gas containing a monoolefin having a carbon atom number of 4 or more with a molecular oxygen-containing gas and supplying the mixture into a reactor, and a step of obtaining a corresponding conjugated diene-containing product gas produced by the oxidative dehydrogenation reaction of the monoolefin having a carbon atom number of 4 or more in the presence of a catalyst, wherein the concentration of a combustible gas in the gas supplied to the reactor is not less than the upper explosion limit and the oxygen concentration in the product gas is from 2.5 to 8.0 vol%.
