PURPOSE:To enhance sensitivity and durability by forming a photosensitive layer containing a specified hydrazone compound. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive layer contains at least one of the hydrazone compounds represented by formula I in which each of R1 and R2 is optionally substituted alkyl, such aralkyl, such allyl, or such aryl; R3 is an alkyl silicon group; each of R4 and R5 is optionally substituted alkyl, such aralkyl, or such aryl and n is 0 or 1. This hydrazo compound has extremely excellent performance as the photoconductor of the electrophotographic sensitive body, and especially in case of using it as a charge transfer medium, a photosensitive body having especially high sensitivity and superior durability can be obtained. |
