The system stores toolholders equipped with cutters, and which have guides by which they slide onto mating ones on horizontal, vertical or inclined brackets. The latter are situated one above the other on a cylinder(19) sliding and turning on a central boss(7), which extends upwards from a baseplate(1). The cylinder can have holding surfaces of different diameters for the respective brackets(20), and which are joined by a step(21). ADVANTAGE - Forms compact buffer store for tools, which can be easily extracted when next wanted.
