PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED illumination light source capable of effectively suppressing glare.

SOLUTION: The LED illumination light source 100 is provided with a substrate 11, a plurality of LED elements 10 disposed two-dimensionally on the substrate 11 and a wiring circuit 20 electrically connected to a plurality of the LED elements 10. The wiring circuit 20 has wiring structures (21, 22) each capable of supplying a driving current to at least one LED element 10a located on the outer periphery and at least one LED 10b located in an area other than the peripheral section out of a plurality of the LED elements 10 disposed two-dimensionally.
