PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a catheter for ablasion at a specified site in a body, particularly in the heart, by which coagulation of surrounding blood is decreased and by which linear and permanent ablasion scar can be formed. SOLUTION: A catheter has one helical electrode connected with a lead line in the neighborhood of a tip end 18 of a slender tubular catheter main body 12. The lead line pierces through an inner cavity of the catheter. Outer surrounding 26 of multiple wirings for the helical electrode are coated with urethane, etc., while one part 24 of an outer side connecting with the tissue being left. The windings may be embedded partly in the catheter main body. Or, spaces 22 between windings may be filled with urethane, etc. Windings are arranged at equal spaces and may be divided into two or more sections. |
