PURPOSE: To prepare a new fighting game device and to improve a game effect by combining a memory and a coincidence by introducing pieces having picture patterns on their both front and rear faces to a game machine for erasing the continuous pieces having the same picture pattern. CONSTITUTION: This device is provided with a game screen composed of piece groups two-dimensionally arranging the pieces to which picture patterns are respectively set to the front and rear faces. Then, any piece is turned out according to the designation of a player, and the same kind of horizontally and vertically continuous pieces having the same picture pattern as the picture pattern of the turned-out piece are erased from the screen. Afterwards, plural players successively perform play actions for dropping upper pieces and displaying a new picture. For example, a picture arranging 6×8 pieces of five kinds of pieces of seven, cherry, bell, frog and plum is displayed. At such a time, the score display columns for first and second players are parallelly displayed at the lower part of the screen. Besides, the first and second players alternately operate a cursor and the number of turns in the case of counting the cursor operations performed by all the players one by one as one turn is shown by a figure at the lower part of a center. |
