PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow the timer to easily cope with a time discontinuous state such as switching to the summer time and compensation of leap seconds and to improve the operability by selecting the summer time without correcting control data prepared in advance. SOLUTION: A discontinuous time of the day (hour), a discontinuous length of time and a discontinuous direction as switching time into the summer time or the like are set by a data terminal 3 and a CPU 1 storing them with control data into a memory 2 receives the hour denoted by an in-station reference clock 4 from a time count panel 5 and stores it as a collation use present time.
