摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve image quality by reducing noise. SOLUTION: This imaging apparatus is provided with a plurality of pixels, which have photoelectric conversion portions and amplification means which amplify output signals of the photoelectric conversion portions and output them, respectively, a readout means, a mixing means, and a differential processing means. The readout means is provided with a first mode which reads signals two or more number of times via the amplification means which signals are acquired from the same pixel, by resetting an input portion of the amplification means, and a second mode which reads photoelectrically converted signals two or more number of times which are generated in the photoelectric conversion portion from the same pixel via the amplification means. In the mixing means, the signals, which are readout two or more number of times from the amplification means by the first mode, are mixed and are output as a first mixed signal, and the signals which are readout two or more number of times from the amplifying means by the second mode are mixed and output as a second mixed signal.
