PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a steam generation time in a cooker supplying steam into a heating chamber. SOLUTION: A steam generating container 7 having a steam generating chamber 7a is arranged in a left part of the heating chamber 3 in a cabinet 2. Water is supplied to the steam generating chamber 7a from a water tank 15 arranged in a lower part of the heating chamber 3 through a pipe 16. The steam generating container 7 is composed of a container main body 71, and a container cover 72 formed by aluminum die-casting, and a steam heater 8 is casted in an inside of the container main body 71. Heat radiation fins 73-75 are integrally formed on an inner face of the container main body 71. When the steam heater 8 is turned on, the steam generating vessel 7 and the radiation fins 73-75 are temperature-elevated, and the water is heated and evaporated in the steam generating chamber 7a.
