<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glutathione production promoter containing an extract of a natural product. <P>SOLUTION: The glutathione production promoter contains the extract of one or more natural products selected from the group consisting of Ruscus aculeatus L., Mallotus philippinensis Mueller-Argoviensis, Rubus ellipticus Smith, Rosmarinus officinalis L., Houttuynia cordata Thunberg, licorice, leaves of Artemisia priceps Pampanini, Coptis japonica Makino, Arnica montana L., leaves of Camellia sinensis, roots of Sophora flavescenes Aiton, bark of Phellodendron amurense Ruprecht, Swertia japonica Makino, Thymus serpyllum L., Lavandula vera De Candlle, Panax ginseng C.A. Meyer, Ginkgo biloba L., Alpinia speciosa (Wendl.) K. Schum., Averrhoa carambola L., royal jelly, roots of Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi, Aloe ferox.
