The present invention relates to a method to measure a water level, and an apparatus to measure the water level using an optical fiber sensor. According to the present invention, the apparatus to measure the water level comprises: an optical fiber sensor unit sensing displacement of a metal bar fixated inside of a liquid storage tank in accordance with inflow and outflow of liquid to the liquid storage tank; and a water level measurement unit measuring a water level of the liquid storage tank using the displacement.
