The present invention provides a POS terminal with which it is possible to minimize occurrence of errors in registering product information relating to a product on sale when performing revenue processing. The POS terminal is used to manage product sales information in a retail outlet. Product names of products being sold are registered in a voice recognition dictionary (5). When a product name included in the voice emitted by an operator matches a product name registered in the voice recognition dictionary (5), a voice recognition unit (3) outputs the product name as a voice-recognized product name. Product buttons for inputting a product name are displayed on an operator display unit (10). When the product name on the product button pressed by the operator matches the product name recognized by the voice recognition unit (3), the product information for the product corresponding to the matched product name is registered.
