What is proposed is a vacuum cleaner which comprises a housing (12) which extends between a first housing side (16) and a second housing side (18) in a first axis of extent (20), a suction unit (32) for generating a suction flow that is arranged in the housing (12), a separator device (30) which is arranged in the housing (12), and a pipe device (14) which is arranged on or in the housing (12) and extends in a second axis of extent (44) at least approximately parallel to the first axis of extent (20), wherein a nozzle connection (24) for a suction nozzle (28) is arranged on the pipe device (14), and the nozzle connection (24) is situated closer to the first housing side (16) than to the second housing side (18), wherein the pipe device (14) is designed to be length-adjustable along the second axis of extent (44), and a distance between the nozzle connection (24) and the first housing side (16) can be set so as to be fixable.
