Provided are: a wireless IC device that can be more compact using a simple configuration; a resin molded article comprising same; a communications terminal device comprising same; and a production method therefor. This wireless IC device comprises: a resin member having a first main surface and a second main surface facing the first main surface; a magnetic circuit board having a wiring conductor pattern; an RFIC element mounted upon the wiring conductor pattern on the magnetic circuit board and comprising a first I/O terminal and a second I/O terminal; and an antenna coil provided on the resin member, having one end thereof connected to the first I/O terminal, and having the other end thereof connected to the second I/O terminal. At least part of the magnetic circuit board is arranged on the inside of the antenna coil, as a magnetic core for the antenna coil.
