An access system and method for a data storage. The system comprises a data storage (21), a controller (23) and a redundancy elimination unit (22). The data storage is a multi-path group data storage (21). The redundancy elimination unit (22) records M record entries, each record entry being configured to store a tag of a data block stored in each data storage group. The controller (23) determines a read data block and a target data storage group of the read data block, and transmits a query message to the redundancy elimination unit (22), the query message carrying a group identifier of the target data storage group of the read data block and a tag of the read data block. The redundancy elimination unit (22) determines, according to the group identifier of the target data storage group of the read data block, a record entry corresponding to the group identifier of the target data storage group, and determines whether the tag of the read data block matches with the tag of the data block stored in the record entry corresponding to the target data storage group of the read data block, and if not, then the redundancy elimination unit (22) transmits to the controller (23) a query response message indicating a read miss of read data. |
