PURPOSE: To provide the device and method to decode a deteriorated signal due to convolution processing such as an afocal image. CONSTITUTION: Noise is reduced from a deteriorated signal and various derivatives are calculated. A corresponding parameter is multiplied with each of the derivatives to obtain weighted derivatives. The weighted derivatives are summed one after another to obtain a decoded signal. The weighting parameters are calculated based on a moment of core of convolution. The device is made up of a noise reduction means, a weight parameter calculation means, a multiplier means and an adder means. |
