PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress such a problem that when a negative charge toner is used, strength of the material which constitutes the peripheral part of a toner replenishing roller is worn or partly chipped in the process of pressing the toner replenishing roller to a pressing member to replenish a toner from the toner replenishing roller to a developing device. SOLUTION: This device has such mechanism that a toner 1 housed in a toner housing tank 11 is supplied to a toner replenishing roller 13 which rotates, that the toner replenishing roller 13 to which the toner is thus supplied is pressed to a pressing member 14 and that the toner 1 is supplied from the toner replenishing roller 13 through a toner replenishing port 15 to a developing device 20. In this case, the peripheral part 13b of the toner replenishing roller 13 consists of an ester-based urethane foam 13c while the surface of the ester urethane foam 13c on the peripheral part is coated with an ether-based urethane 13d. |
