<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable camera which reduces the possibility of wrong outflow of images taken by its own terminal and other images to outside. <P>SOLUTION: When a user's operation selects a copy process to an external memory 2, a controller 11, if the external memory 2 is connected, shows a copy image select screen to do a select process of copy images. If a selected photographed image data file contains information about the user, the controller 11 decides on the copy setting by referring to copy settings in the information about the user in the photographed image data file. If the copy setting is at a "permit" position, the controller 11 copies the photographed image data file to the external memory 2 and, after ending the copy of the image, shows the copy completed.
