<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide potable water and a material for a beverage and food produced easily and used for maintaining and promoting health. <P>SOLUTION: This purple potable water is produced by using natural mineral spring water (of which contents are attached) as a stock water and a coloring raw material obtained by dissolving a purple pigment of a surface skin part of ancient rice. The purple potable water is used as the drinking water.
