PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutter mat with a guard, the right-angled direction of which is always supported in cutting paper or the like, split-cutting in the state of placing paper thereon, replacing the paper without moving the ruler position, preventing injury or a flaw of a desk due to the use of a cutter knife or the like, not taking up much space in the working state or in the non-working state. SOLUTION: This cutter mat body 1 with a guard uses a mat part for receiving the knife edge of a cutter knife or the like. The cutter mat body includes a guard part 5 formed by sticking a cutter blade receiver 6 with the scale and a sponge 7 to the two adjacent sides of a side surface for fitting the mat part, and the other two adjacent sides are provided with a frame 8 with the scale. A ruler 9 for running a cutter knife or pen along it used on the mat has a right angle, and a ruler guide 10 is formed on the shorter side of the sides forming the right angle.
