PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a barn, promoting fermentation in the fermentation treatment performed so as to dissolve the conveying work of the excretion of livestock reared in the barn, especially of cows so as to eliminate the conveying-out work. SOLUTION: This barn is provided with that the constitution of a mud floor on which livestock are pastured is formed by laying a fermenting layer obtained by mixing compost with rice bran and sugar portion on the layer of earth brought from another place and obtained by laying soft earth agitated well to mix air, and then, after promoting an aerobic fermentation by plowing the fermentation layer, pasturing and then plowing the fermentation layer together with the excretion of the livestock.
