摘要 <p>A display apparatus using a bar type diffraction optical modulator is provided to perform abrupt variation of a beam path by implementing a penetration lens and a lighting lens in the bar type diffraction optical modulator. A display apparatus using a bar type diffraction optical modulator includes a beam source(110), a focusing unit(112), a lighting system(114), a diffraction optical modulator(120), a beam path adjusting unit, and a projection system(122). The beam source generates plural beams. The focusing unit guides the beams from the beam source to have the same beam path. The lighting system converts the beam from the beam source into line shape beams. The diffraction optical modulator performs modulation on the line shape beams and outputs diffraction beams of plural diffraction orders to have beam intensity suitable for applications in respective positions of line. The beam path adjusting unit inputs the line shape beams to the diffraction optical modulator and outputs the diffraction beams from the diffraction optical modulator to locate the diffraction beams in the same line as an input path. The projection system projects the diffraction beams from the diffraction optical modulator on a screen and displays images.</p>
