摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve improvement of a yield rate of a display apparatus by including a pixel circuit which can make a dark spot, from which light is not emitted, less conspicuous in an organic EL display apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: An existing one pixel is divided into a plurality of regions, and an organic EL element 127_k is provided in each of the plurality of regions. The organic EL element 127_k is connected to the source of a driving transistor 121 while interposing a test transistor 128_k which can be controlled between on and off for the organic EL element 127_k. When detecting the dark spot, all the test transistors 128_k are successively turned on from an off-state, so as to specify the presence or absence of the dark spot and the position of the dark spot. By radiating an energy beam such as a laser beam upon a wiring on an anode side that serves as a current channel of a driving current Ids to a dark spot element, the wiring is fused to electrically isolate the dark spot element from the normal pixel circuits P, thereby carrying out repair of the dark spot.
