<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magenta toner or the like having an excellent spectral reflection characteristic for color reproduction, high chromaticity and a high reflection density characteristic, having a clear magenta color, improved in dispersibility to binder resin to attain high coloring performance, and improved in transparency. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This magenta toner is characterized in that: the toner contains at least binder resin, a pigment and a pigment dispersing agent; the pigment contains C.I. Pigment Red 122 and C.I. Pigment Violet 19; a solution obtained by dissolving 10 g of the toner in 40 g of tetrahydrofuran is applied on a base material by using a 0.3 mm wire bar; and the haze degree of a coating film is from 0.1 to 25.
