<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress increase in size of a branch connection by simplifying connection of a trunk cable and a branch line cable. <P>SOLUTION: The coating layer 1b at the branch connection 3 in a trunk cable 1 is peeled off partially to form a notch 10c having an arcuate cross section in the radial direction of a conductor 1a, and the remaining coating layer 1b is left on the outer peripheral surface of the conductor 1a at the branch connection 3. The outer peripheral surface of the conductor 1a and the exposed conductor 2a of a branch line cable 2 are superimposed so as to abut each other. Thereafter, ultrasonic vibration energy is imparted to these conductors 1a, 2a thus welding them on the abutting surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
