Provided are an audiovisual system, a broadcast reception device, and a mobile terminal that are suitable for viewing a broadcast program or a recorded program outdoors using a mobile terminal via a network. According to a configuration, when an operation regarding a broadcast program recording is inputted from a user to a broadcast reception device, the broadcast reception device outputs a recording setting window using a display video output unit of the broadcast reception device, the recording setting window enabling the selection of, with respect to a first program that is to be recorded, a first recording mode in which program related information is recorded but the video content of the broadcast program is not recorded, or a second recording mode in which both the program related information and the video content of the broadcast program are recorded; when the first recording mode is selected by an operation input from the user to the broadcast reception device, the broadcast reception device, when executing the recording of the first program, records the program related information but does not record the video content of the broadcast program; and when an operation regarding a playback of the first program is inputted from the user to the broadcast reception device, the broadcast reception device communicates with a server, receives the video content of the first program from the server, and outputs the video content using the display video output unit. |
