Provided is a display device. The display device includes: a display panel; a contact sensing device on the display panel; and a linear polarizing plate on the contact sensing device. The contact sensing device includes an electroactive layer elongated along a first axis and formed to delay a phase of an incident light. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the display device includes the contact sensing device having the electroactive layer formed to delay the phase of the incident light. A separate phase delay film for repressing the reflection of an external light can be omitted. Therefore, the display device can be thin and manufacturing costs of the display device can be reduced.
