PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently and effectively authenticate an ID card.SOLUTION: An information processing device includes: acquisition means that obtains first image information which is read from a first surface of an ID card including a memory chip and storage information which is read from the memory chip; determination means that determines whether or not it is necessary to read an image of a second surface of the ID card on the basis of the storage information; instruction means that if it is determined that it is necessary to read the image of the second surface, provides an instruction to read second image information from the second surface; and display control means that makes display means display the storage information corresponding to the first image information or storage information corresponding to the second image information, together with the first image information or second image information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
