PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promptly reduce a rotating speed of a motor in a hybrid vehicle when a collision occurs.SOLUTION: A vehicle 1 comprises: an engine 100; a first MG 10; a second MG 20; a power division mechanism 400; a collision detection sensor 320; and an ECU 300. The engine 100 can change opening/closing timing of an intake valve 410 by an electric actuator 460 while maintaining a valve opening period of the intake valve 410. The first MG 10 and the second MG 20 are each a permanent-magnet-type synchronous motor. When a collision of the vehicle 1 has been detected and at least one of a condition that an MG1 rotating speed Nm1 is higher than a threshold n1 and a condition that an MG2 rotating speed Nm2 is higher than a threshold value n2, the ECU 300 changes the opening/closing timing to advanced position timing using the electric actuator 460.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
