PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for reinforcing a roof of a building with which a bracket supporting a roof panel can be reinforced comparatively easily.SOLUTION: A long jig 100 for jack device installation bridges a plurality of ceiling beams 22 so as to spread over a lower side of a rafter frame material 55 of an eaves-side roof panel 51. A jack device 102 is installed on the jig 100, and the rafter frame material 55 is lifted by the jack device 102. While lifting the rafter frame material 55, a reinforcing bracket 75 is mounted in place of an existent bracket 16 at a lower position of the rafter frame material 55 on a building body 12. Thereafter, the rafter frame material 55 is lowered by the jack device 102 to be placed on the reinforcing bracket 75, and in such an installed state, the rafter frame material 55 is fixed to the reinforcing bracket 75. |
