<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a text synchronous speech reproduction controller etc., which has improved operability by enabling a desired reproduction start position to be easily designated in a simple manner. <P>SOLUTION: According to commands of a time code file, a text based upon text data is displayed on a text display picture W10 (a). A speech relating to the contents of the displayed text is reproduced and outputted and the displayed text is displayed specially with an underline UL10 according to the time code file. A user taps on the specially displayed text with a touch pen TP (b).
