The device for joining the soft biological tissues in human and animals consists of two electrically isolated consoles and the male connector containing at least one contact plug for connecting to the source of high-frequency current. Opposite to the contact plug, each console contains the electrode with the operating surfaces. According to then invention, the operating surface of the first electrode is designed with at least one projection with the acute edges. The operating surface of the second electrode is designed with at least one recess with the acute edges matching the projection of the first electrode. Such a design allows for piercing the superficial layer of the tissue reducing its resistance followed by the mechanical stretching of the welded tissues according to the shape of the contact surfaces of the electrodes. The weldingcurrent causes the biological tissue to fuse. The welding point is generated in the close volume between the joined surfaces of the electrodes in the process of the bipolar high-frequency welding.
