The watch glass or clock glass (1) is provided on its upper side with a metal layer and a wear-resistant decorative relief (2) is placed onto said upper metal layer, while the lower metal layer (3) is designed as a reflective layer. By this method, the relief effect of the decoration is increased, as a result of which an aesthetically more pleasing appearance is achieved. <IMAGE>
