SILVER HALIDE COLOR PHOTOGRAPHIC SENSITIVE MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silver halide color photographic sensitive material high in the spectral sensitivity of blue-sensitive silver halide emulsion layers and extremely excellent in sharpness of all the photosensitive layers. SOLUTION: This color photographic sensitive material has at least 2 of the blue-sensitive silver halide emulsion layers and at least one green-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer and at least one red-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer on one side of a support. The most blue-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer (MBAgX layer) is apart from the support farther than the other photosensitive silver halide emulsion layers and it contains a monomethinecyanine dye having an absorption maximum wavelengthλmax in a wavelength region of 415-450nm and an areal molecular extinction coefficient of >=2.0×10<4> (eV.l.mol<-1> .cm<-1> ) and a silver halide emulsion comprising flat silver halide grains having an aspect ratio of >=6 and amounting to >=50% of the total projection areas and a ratio of an amount of coated silver on the MBAgX layer to the total coated silver amount is <=0.25.
