Cathode ray tube

The cathode ray tube includes a disc which comprises a fluorescent screen, and a funnel connected with the disc, and a throat which is connected at the rear side with the funnel. A nozzle has an electron gun and a flange, whereby the flange is sealed at the throat. An underside end of the throat has an inside diameter, which is larger than an outside diameter of the flange. A sealing process between the throat and the flange is performed in such a way, that an underside of the flange is located at a place which lies underneath the underside end of the throat, less than the thickness of the flange, while the flange lies above the underside end of the throat, less than twice the thickness of the flange away.
