SOLUTION: This image generating device generates a behind object consisting of polygon data as part of a background of a virtual three- dimensional space as an image when a character object generated by the polygon data is moved to the virtual three-dimensional space. In this case, a visual field viewed from a viewed point is calculated and behind objects OTa, OTb, OTc placed in the visual field and viewed from the visual point are specified. Furthermore, specific state that the character object Otch is placed within the visual field and in a apace toward the view point from the specified behind object is discriminated. Only when this specific state is discriminated, the character object Otch is integrated in a display object.</p> |
