<p>A business directory (10) includes a database (13, 14) which is operative to store a plurality of business data files each including identiy data (21) identifying a particular business, product data identifying the goods or services provided by that business, and availability data (23) identifying the availability of the goods or services provided by that business during a predetermined period. The system also includes a user interface (20) operative to allow a user to submit a query to the database to identify businesses which have specified products or services available during a specified period; and searching means (11) operative in response to a query to return to the interface an identity listing which identifies those businesses which according to the business data files, have the specified products or services available during the specified period.</p> |
