PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer which requires no troublesome input operation from a user when print processing is designated and enables an easy recognition of the total number of printed sheets for every user, and to provide a network multifunction apparatus. SOLUTION: In a multifunction facsimile 1, a user information management table for storing the terminal identification information for identifying an external processor 31, the user identification information for identifying a user using the external processor 31, and the total number of printed sheets for every external processor 31 while associating is stored in a storage section 17. Upon receiving print data from the external processor 31, a print control section 11a specifies a user from the terminal identification information included in the print data with reference to the user identification information on the user information management table, generates a print job from the received print data and executes that print job. Upon finishing the print job, a number of printed sheet management section 11b adds the number of printed sheet by that print job to the total number of printed sheets of the user corresponding to the finished print job.
